The TRX is back, and it brought SRT with it
After skipping the 2025 and 2026 model years, Ram has revived its high-performance off-road truck as the 2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT. It is the first Ram since 2006 to carry the SRT badge and the first off-road product from the relaunched SRT Performance division.
Drivers in Madison County will appreciate both sides of its personality. On I-45 between Houston and Dallas, Hands-free Active Driving Assist and massaging front seats make long runs easy.6 Off the pavement, around the Navasota River bottoms and the ranch roads toward Normangee and Centerville, the TRX brings Bilstein® adaptive shocks, 35-inch tires and a locking Dana 60 rear axle.

The Supercharged 6.2L HEMI® V8 gains a new valvetrain, higher fuel pressure, a higher redline and updated engine management for 2027, lifting output to 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque.1

Cabin comfort and technology
The TRX shares much of its cabin finish with the Ram 1500 Tungsten. The dash is hand-wrapped in leather, the headliner and visors are full suede, and genuine carbon fiber trims the cluster, glovebox lid, doors and rear console. Front seats are 12-way power with memory, heat, ventilation and massage. The rear bench reclines and is both heated and ventilated.
Audio comes from a 900-watt Harman Kardon® system with 19 speakers and a 10-inch subwoofer, with red-perforated tweeter grilles in the front doors.

Fuel type and tank size
Premium unleaded fuel is recommended. The 33-gallon tank helps offset the EPA-estimated 12 mpg combined rating.3

The TRX SRT comes only as a four-door Crew Cab with a 5-ft 7-in bed and seating for five.
Paint upcharges and late colors
